Who needs pants when you have an oversized blazer? Not Hailey Bieber.
The model, and queen of the blazer look, took the trend to a whole new level when she stepped out solo in New York on Tuesday. Bieber was seen leaving her hotel in nothing but a checked wool blazer with a pair of sky-highs leather platform sandals—both from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
She previously wore Saint Laurent at this year’s Met Gala: an ivory backless dress with a trendy shawl.
On Tuesday, Bieber accessorized with tiny black sunglasses and wore her hair straight down. She opted for natural makeup before the launch of her skincare brand, Rhode.
Bieber – who has become known for her soothing TikToks skincare routine and “glazed donut” skin look – spoke to BAZAAR.com about his new venture, which debuted today, June 15.
“My philosophy behind the brand is that we want to do everything,” she said. “A very good moisturizer, a very good moisturizing serum, a very good lip product.”
For now, it is only launching three products: the Peptide Glaze Fluidthe Barrier Restoring Creamand the Lip treatment with peptides. Vegan and mostly fragrance-free products are packed with dermatologist-approved ingredients, such as peptidesniacinamide and squalaneand are “all about barrier health and hydration,” according to Bieber.
“I am someone who travels a lot. I wanted simplicity. But I want [the products] to work really well,” she said. “I believe in keeping your essentials in your closet the same way I believe in keeping your essentials in your skincare.”
Bieber had a busy few weeks after his health scare and heart surgery preparing for the Rhode launch.
Meanwhile, at home, her husband, Justin Bieber, has his own health issues. Last week, the “Peaches” singer announced in a Instagram Video that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and suffers from partial and temporary facial paralysis. Because of this, he had to cancel various gigs and said he was focused on rest and improvement.
The model showed her support for her hubby by sharing her announcements on her own Instagram story, with the words, “I love you baby.”
And he showed his support for her today, congratulating her on the launch of Rhode. “I’m so proud of you baby. No one knows the long hours of care and passion you’ve put into building a skincare brand that truly serves people,” he said. written in an Instagram post. “The most beautiful thing about you is your concern for protecting people with good ingredients that will help their skin thrive like you have done for me and my skin. PROUD IS JUST MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER So many people are going to have beautiful dewy skin because of your desire to give them access to the best! I love you so much.”
